Esquire Barbershop was started in 2009 by barber Aaron Williams, to fill the need for a classic barbershop in Andersonville. Through his hard work and diligence, it quickly became a community hub to get together and get a great haircut, catch up on neighborhood news, or just watch the game.

Since then, we have only grown to become one of Chicago’s busiest barbershops, and a welcoming place for anybody looking to get a great haircut or just get together and have a great conversation. We pride ourselves on the diversity of our barbers and clients.

At Esquire, we strive for consistency.

Whether that’s consistently great services, a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, or keeping our clients satisfied, we aim for it all.

All of our barbers are constantly learning ways to improve their skillset and hone their craft. None of them are satisfied with an “okay” haircut.

Esquire’s barbers won’t settle for anything less than “that’s perfect.”

There is nothing more fulfilling than making someone feel great. As barbers, we have that ability. We want to give people the confidence to get the date, feel amazing at their wedding, nail the job interview, or just look their best.
